MILogin for Third Party Account Sign Up – State of Michigan

MILogin is the State of Michigan’s single sign on software that will allow users access to State of Michigan systems, to include: GEMS/MARS; CEPI; MICIP; MEGS+; NexSys; etc. MILogin for Third Party Account Sign Up is required for new users.

Please do not create a new MILogin account if you already have one to access the following online services: CHAMPS, MCIR, MDOS eServices (CARS), MiBridges, MiSACWIS, Michigan Treasury Online (MTO), or any of the other business online services and applications. Please use your existing user ID and password from those systems to log into the MILogin for Third Party portal.

As explained above, MILogin is the new State of Michigan Identity, Credential and Access Management (MICAM) solution. The MILogin solution will provide enhanced single sign-on (SSO) capabilities in addition to meeting many other business requirements and security and compliance needs.

If you have multiple MEIS accounts, you must create multiple MILogin for Third Party accounts and link them each separately. Multiple MILogin for Third Party accounts can be associated to one email address. Follow the steps below to create your MILogin Third-Party Account:

Step 1: Go to MILogin for Third Party OR milogintp.michigan.gov and click the “Sign Up” button

Step 2: Enter your information in the fields with red asterisks and check the “I agree to the terms & conditions.” box at the bottom of the page. Click “Next.”

Step 3: The next screen will ask you to set up your MILogin User ID and Password to complete your profile.

Step 4: After setting your Password and User ID, you will need to choose how to recover your Password through the Security Options.

Step 5: Based on your selection(s), corresponding fields will appear. Fill out any of these new fields with your information. Click “Create Account.

NOTE: If you selected “Mobile (Text/SMS)” as one of your password recovery options, you will receive a PIN at the phone number you entered. Enter the PIN in the MILogin window that appears and click “Confirm.

  • If you need the PIN sent to the number you entered again, click “Resend PIN.
  • If you need to change your contact number, click the “Back” button to return to the previous screen.

Step 6: After submitting your information, you should receive a confirmation page (below) to indicate changes were made successfully.

Creating a MILogin for Third Party Account
